Learning How To Learn

The purpose of this program is to teach the student how to learn, how to recognize and overcome his own learning barriers so that he has the ability to understand and use what he is learning about. There are numerous comprehension and learning strategies taught through Learning How To Learn, all of which are aimed at moving the student from passive recipient in the educational process to active partner and then ultimately to independent learner where the student is the gatekeeper of his own knowledge and study, and the teacher or tutor is the guide.
